July screams summer fun!  Americans proudly celebrate the 4th of July and what a coincidence, it’s also National Grilling month!

As your Nutrition Expert, I want you to celebrate, enjoy AND stay healthy.  Be a trend setter in your company’s summer BBQ or at your next cookout and serve a delicious menu with a twist.  You will wow everyone’s taste buds with flavor but avoid ingredients and cooking methods that pack on the calories, unhealthy fats and other compounds that are not so desirable.

Grilling winners to lose your gut

Beef and chicken lovers:  marinade and grill hanger steak and chicken breasts instead of beef ribs and chicken wings.

No cookout is complete with favorite…coleslaw.  Time to put in a change order for grilled vegetables!
